Ms. Scarlet’s Diet: Peach, Avocado Seafood Salad Recipe

It’s nearly impossible to find a low-fat seafood salad recipe with the current high-fat, high-protein craze — particularly when Col. Mustard and Prof. Plum have gone keto. This is a healthy recipe without any mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream. It’s a spectacular way to use tree-ripened peaches.

To lower fat content more, skip the avocado. The calorie count is also reasonable when you use a package of imitation krab containing 220 calories and 15 grams of protein.


1 package of imitation krab (Alaskan pollock as primary ingredient)

2 small (yellow) peaches (peeled)

2 green onions (scallions)

1/2 avocado

juice from 1/4 lemon

spices: dill, Old Bay seasoning, salt and pepper


Chop up the krab, peaches, onions, avocado. Use the peach juice and lemon juice as a replacement for mayo-based dressings. Season as desired with dill, Old Bay and salt and pepper. Keep refrigerated.
