Ms. Scarlet’s Diet: Ezekiel Pizza Recipe

Even if you are not on a diet, this is a very delicious and easy pizza. The trick is to heat up the small Ezekiel brand sprouted grain tortillas in a pan before baking. Use a cooking spray or a dab of oil according to your preference.

Ingredients:

Sprouted grain Ezekiel 4:9 brand tortillas (the small has 70 calories each)

1/8 to 1/4 cup organic pizza sauce (it’s 25 calories for every 1/8 cup)

sprinkle the sauce with oregano

organic low-fat mozzarella cheese (sprinkle according to your caloric allowance or preference)

topping ideas: vegetables such as spinach, eggplant, mushrooms, pepperoni, feta cheese

Directions:

After heating up the tortillas, place on a baking sheet. Spread with pizza sauce; sprinkle with oregano. Top with finely-shredded cheese and toppings. Sprinkle top with parmesan cheese. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts.

Calories and facts:

You can get each one to come in at about 125 to 150 calories with some effort. Sprouted grain is generally permitted on the Blood Type diet for most people. If you are on a low-carb or keto-friendly diet, this product is typically approved.

The small tortilla (without any toppings) contains 2 grams of fiber, 3 grams of protein, 13 grams of carbohydrates and no sugar. Fold in half to make kid-friendly snacks.
